Food Talk
I love to go to Taco Bell or Denny's at midnight. However, only Leslie will go with me. Jenn is asleep by 10:00 PM and Holly doesn't want to be tempted to eat anything because she's always trying to control what she eats (and while I believe in moderation, I think that you should eat whatever you want to) and so she won't go either.
Leslie:
I just saw this new music video. I know you would appreciate it. It was number three on the rock countdown. It's super cool, kind of an homage to The Shining.
In case you don't know, I am a music video junkie. For real. I love music videos. They are so neat-o. I think it's amazing how they can tell a story in like three minutes, and some of them are pretty substantial. Some videos suck, but some of them have great visuals and they're just cool. Anyway, enough about that . . . .
Back to the food. I don't eat all the time, but I like to eat at weird hours and Les is usually there to do it with me. No one else I know is willing to eat at 1 o'clock in the morning. Everyone else has set meal times, and so they are completely against going to Denny's and getting a banana split at 2:00 AM. Therefore, it's depressing when Les is out of the country and I have to go to Steak n' Shake by myself and get everything to go. Except for that one time when I made friends with the manager because he was really bored.
Well, I think I'm going to go get some cheese and crackers and maybe a bottle of wine . . . and then I'll draw a picture of Les on some cardboard and put a hat on it and sit it in a chair and talk to it. Yeah, probably.

amanda...about the music video thing. it's so weird, i was just thinking about that on my way home from work the other day (i have random thoughts as i drive). i was thinking about how much i love music videos and how i'm amazed that they can tell a story in like 3 minutes. wow...great minds. i'm planning on making one this summer. so far, i have sadie and leslie enlisted to be a part. i'm thinking that i could get holly and now i think you should be a part too! how fun.
i've never thought about doing the banana split thing at 3 am. however, there's something about leisle-diesle that makes me not even think twice about doing random things...so if you give me a call, i'm sure i'd be up for it! :)
i can't stand music videos. i don't see the point in watching someone sing. i just want to rock. but, i'd probably be up for watching yours tami. i love how all acs girls say "i love to dance" and then watching them do it your only thought is "does this really qualify as dancing?" (not that yours would be like that or anything) also, i'd love to make a cameo in if i could. i'll take a day off work for it.
funky brewster, you eating at wierd times is why you are so fat. your body is confused on when to use all the energy you give but it never knows if it should burn it right away or wait for 3 days when you'll finally need it. it's science.
that last paragraph about the cardboard leslie was actually pretty funny. could you make me one so i could set it in front of andrea and she would just think she was hanging out with one of her friends and wouldn't bother me all the time?
late night taco bell runs do seem manly to me but the yalso sound stoner-ish.
tami i think we're sisters!! and i would love to help with a music video.
traever, i am going to make you a cardboard cutout of les and i'm going to engineer it so that every 10 minutes it says, "shut up traever" in a very les-like voice.
also, eating at weird times is not girly. at all. some girls i know refuse to do it because it isn't healthy and it does make you gain weight. i mentioned that in like the second sentence. you guys need to pay attention.
maybe you should make it say "i want you traever" so it would actually be believable as leslie.
oh traever, is it lonely in that world you live in? because everyone else is here, in reality.
you were! sucka! my mom and i were right by the door so we left right away . . . i'm not sure why. we just did.
